Mid-Carolina's Annual Meeting: 2024 Recap
In its eighty-fourth year, Mid-Carolina's Annual Meeting once again proved to be a cornerstone event for our cooperative and its members. This year, under the theme "Serving Our Members," we adapted to the changing times by hosting a drive-thru experience coupled with a livestreamed business meeting. The result? A great success, with 5,601 members registered between the two voting locations.
Flexibility was key this year, and we were happy to offer our members multiple options to engage with us. Whether cruising through our drive-thru stations or tuning into the livestream from the comfort of their homes, members had the opportunity to be a part of the proceedings.
As part of our commitment to our members, we distributed registration gift bags and offered enticing incentives, including bill credits and exciting prizes. We extend our gratitude to Beechwood Elementary School and Chapin Middle School for graciously hosting our Annual Meeting events.

Reflecting on the event, Mid-Carolina's President and CEO, Bob Paulling, expressed his delight at the overwhelming response from members. This year's meeting felt like a reunion, with familiar faces and new acquaintances coming together to shape the future of our cooperative."
