Golf Tournament Raises $12,000 for Becky’s Place

On October 25th, Mid-Carolina Electric hosted our 2021 charity golf tournament at Golden Hills Golf & Country Club in Lexington. 

Twenty-four teams participated and helped raise $12,000 for the Becky's Place at Lexington Medical Center. These funds provide wigs and prostheses for cancer patients struggling with the side effects of chemotherapy. Over the past 20 years, the tournament has raised more than $200,000 for Becky’s Place. Aiken Electric Cooperative’s foursome won the day with a score of 53.
