Empowering Young Minds: Mid-Carolina’s 2024 Bright Ideas Grants Fuel Innovation in Local Classrooms
This October, Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative awarded over $19,000 in Bright Ideas grants to support 20 innovative teachers across 15 schools in our community. These grants help bring creative projects to life, fueling student engagement and providing new opportunities for hands-on learning.
The Bright Ideas grant program empowers teachers to tackle challenges and inspire their students with unique classroom experiences, from cultivating vertical gardens to launching school podcasts. These projects reflect the dedication and vision of our local educators, whose ideas extend beyond traditional resources to make learning exciting and meaningful.
