Integrated Resource Plan
Central Electric Power Cooperative, Inc. (Central) is a wholesale electric generation and transmission cooperative headquartered in Columbia and owned by Mid-Carolina and 19 other independent, consumer-owned South Carolina distribution electric cooperatives. Through Central, the 20 member cooperatives developed an Integrated Resource Plan, submitted to the South Carolina Energy Office, that details how together we will meet forecasted energy consumption and peak demand from 2024 through 2043.
