Alternative Payment Options
As our community continues to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, MCEC recognizes the significant economic impact on local families and businesses. We understand many members are facing financial challenges and may be struggling to stay current on their electric bill. Although services have not been disconnected during the emergency declaration period, we still encourage you to pay your bill as you are able when it becomes due. During the week of July 6, 2020, we will resume disconnections for accounts with past due balances. If you have missed payments, we can connect you with local agencies offering support to those in need of assistance. You can also reach the helpline for SCEmergency Crisis Assistance at 803-734-0662.
